Answers based on real condition
Fresh rubber bonded over the worn part of the outsole (toe, sides) to restore court grip instead of replacing the whole shoe.
It depends on the outsole construction. EXTRIM reviews photos or inspects the shoes first; some models need an in-person check.
An overlay repairs wear from playing on court shoes. Vibram/Sole protection guards street soles against early wear. Different purpose and materials, so quoted separately.
The overlay carries a 60-day warranty against natural separation under normal use. Wear from play is not covered. Scope is written on the order.
